You receive information that the US might be under nuclear attack. You have five minutes to ignore or respond to the threat. The clock is ticking. What do you do?
This interactive game, produced by Playmatics, PRI, the Center for International and Security Studies at Maryland (CISSM), and N Square, takes you through the information-gathering and decision-making processes that world leaders employ during a nuclear threat. You’ll have access to available resources and protocols as well as field experts as you navigate each mission.
Enjoy the game. Although this is a simulation, it gets at issues that our news programs cover every day. To see some of our coverage of these issues, visit our Nuclear Family series and our other Global Security stories.
